- Visiting researcher at the Dynamic Spectrum Management Group at Stanford University, Stanford, USA; 11 months stay from September 2008 to August 2009.
- Visiting researcher in the Alcatel-Lucent Chair on Flexible Radio, SUPELEC, Paris, France; April 2008 and November 2009.
- Visiting researcher in the Center for Wireless Communications at University of Oulu, Oulu, Finland; December 2007.

Short Biography:
Dr. Behrouz Maham received the B.Sc. and M.Sc in electrical engineering, from University of Tehran, in 2005 and 2007, respectively. He worked as a system engineer from 2006 till 2007 at Iran Telecommunication Research Center. From September 2008 to August 2009 he was with the Dept. of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, USA, as a Visiting Researcher. He got his PhD degree from University of Oslo, Norway, in April 2010. Curently, he is a Postdoctoral fellow at UniK - University Graduate Center, University of Oslo. He has held visiting appointments at University of Oulu, Finland, and the Alcatel-Lucent Chair at SUPELEC in France. His fields of interest span the broad area of scalable wireless communication and networking, with emphasis on relay techniques, MIMO multiuser techniques, signal processing for communication, performance analysis of wireless systems, OFDM, and space-time coding. He served as a technical program committee (TPC) member of IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC 2010), IEEE Vehicular Technologies Conference (VTC 2009), and International Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing Conference (IWCMC 2009).
